We suggest you devote part of the morning to visit Calgary, a city that managed to stay true to its traditions but that also enjoys the advantages of economic prosperity. So you don’t need to panic if you come across a city cowboy wearing jeans and a hat, getting out of a Ferrari or a luxury SUV. Visit the Art Gallery, the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre, the Calgary Tower, the Glenbow Museum and the Heritage Park Historical Village. Then off to Bannf National Park. Overnight at DELTA BANFF ROYAL CANADIAN LODGE.

4° DAY: BANFF – LAKE LOUISE – JASPER KM 300
Leaving Banff behind you’ll go to Lake Louise, mostly known as the jewel of the Rocky Mountains. The lake is a mirror of water surrounded by an amphitheater of majestic mountains. The Victoria Glacier is at the very far end of the park. Mount Temple and the surrounding peaks create a natural backdrop; so beautiful it seems a work of art. Next, we suggest Moraine Lake, much more isolated and peaceful, but nonetheless breathtaking. Next stop: Jasper. Day at your disposal to visit the small city or to relax before going to the park the following day. Overnight at FAIRMONT JASPER PARK LODGE.
5° DAY: JASPER NATIONAL PARK
Visit Jasper National Park, where, just as in Banff, you have the chance to practice many activities in the open. Overnight at FAIRMONT JASPER PARK LODGE.
Jasper National Park is the biggest national park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It spans 11.000 sq. km. in the province of Alberta, west of Edmonton. The park develops 40% above the normal limit of vegetation, offering an infinite number of twisted rocks, a great number of glaciers and wonderful lakes. It’s been established in 1907 and is the wildest of all mountain parks, distinguished by nature in its pure and uncontaminated state. Jasper has a superb system of trails and remote roads, as well as the famous Columbia Icefield glacier, the one glacier in the world reachable only by road. The park is also well known for its views, breathtaking panoramas and also for being home to some of the strangest animals in North America, including big populations of grizzly bears, caribous, moose, and wolves.

It’s typically North American but not as chaotic. Constantly top ranked as one of the most livable cities in the world (number 3 in the 2012 ranking by “The Economist”).
8° DAY: VANCOUVER
Day at your disposal to discover this wonderful city. Overnight at WEDGEWOOD Hotel.
9° DAY: VANCOUVER – VICTORIA – CAMPBELL RIVER KM 320
Breakfast in the hotel. You’ll leave Vancouver go to Tsawwassen, 45 minutes south of Vancouver (ferryboats at BC Ferries terminal, boarding with car included). During summer holidays it’s better to make reservations in order to avoid waiting time. The crossing between the beautiful islands of the Gulf towards Vancouver Island is a very picturesque trip. On summer time, the islands welcome thousands of sailboats and fishermen looking for their exquisite salmon. Distinguished by the lush vegetation, the weather here is mild but not exactly Mediterranean, as local touristic posters claim. The islands are home to many animals, sea birds, sea lions, orcas, seals, bald eagles, herons, and cormorants, among others. Arrival at Swartz Bay’s ferryboat terminal.
After sailing in Victoria and Campbell River for 95 minutes, departure to Strathcona Provincial Park. You can admire the sculptures formed by bits of wood brought by the currents and dragged up to the pier and enjoy the beautiful view of nearby islands, covered with forests. Overnight at PAINTER LODGE HOLIDAYS & FISHING RESORT.
10° DAY: CAMPBELL RIVER – TOFINO KM 300
Off to the west coast to reach the charming town of Tofino. Tofino is a fascinating touristic destination. Not very famous among overseas tourists but very popular among Canadians looking for an oasis of sports and relax. It’s located on the west coast of Vancouver Island, roughly in the middle section of the island. There’s just one road to reach Tofino. In Nanaimo you take Pacific Rim Highway 4 to reach your destination. You’ll cross the entire island, enjoying a breathtaking panorama. During the trip, you can’t miss Cathedral Grove, a fairy-tale ultra centennial cedar forest. Upon arrival in Tofino admire the typical marina with the fishermen’s boats and tourists departing for the guided visits.
Of all the guided visits we suggest three:
1) Classic WHALE WATCHING excursion where you’ll get a close look at the whales and orcas happily splashing around in their own habitat.
2) Seaplane Excursion. If the weather is good, you’ll have the chance to enjoy the whole bay and the beautiful uncontaminated coasts from the sky.
3) Hot Spring Cove Excursion, where hot spring lovers will enjoy a unique experience.
For any of these you can get one of the many fliers hanging right before the piers at the port. Check descriptions, prices, and times of departure.
Enjoy a nice walk in the little streets of the town enjoying the numerous reminders of the traditions and culture of Native Americans. Tofino is one of the places in Canada where the old customs are still present and reminders of the Nuxalk culture can be found in every corner of the town. Overnight at JAMIE’S RAINFOREST INN.
11° DAY: TOFINO – VICTORIA KM 320
Return to Victoria, full of stores, pubs, and lively and trendy alternative cafés. We suggest a bike ride; Victoria offers more bike lanes than any other Canadian city. Visit Emily Carr House and then you can go on a whale watching excursion. You may visit the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria and the Craigdarroch Castle. In Victoria they care a lot about native roots. You’ll see many picturesque multicolored totems in the city. And most particularly, near the Royal British Columbia Museum, you can visit Thunderbird Park, where there are many totems from different native cultures.
All of the things Victoria has to offer can be discovered by going there. The things suggested by us are only a part of the top locations!
PS: Don’t forget to try the fantastic local salmon. It’s divinely cooked! Overnight at COAST VICTORIA HARBOURSIDE hotel.

14° DAY: KAUAI
Kauai is really a dream island, with spectacular beaches, valleys, and peaks of intense green. The volcanic craters and amazing waterfalls make this place an authentic terrestrial paradise. No wonder some of the most amazing movies in the history of cinema have been shot here, such as Jurassic Park. The island earn its nickname “Garden Island” for being so green and luxuriant. A great part of its interior is dominated by mountains covered with forests and crossed by wonderful trails. The southern and western coast are drier, more isolated and sprinkled with beautiful beaches. To the north, there’s majestic Napili Coast, probably considered the main attraction of the island, with its cliff overlooking the sea, covered with thick vegetation and bathed by waterfalls coming out from the rocks.

An island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, where the harmony of its tropical view (from rain forests to high mountains submerging in the clouds) will take your breath away so much so that images will remain engraved in your memory and in your heart.
You’ll rent a car and will discover new beaches and panoramas every day. Each beach has its own traits and its own type of sand. So one day you may be at Kaanapali swimming in an emerald green sea, facing a beige sand beach. The next, you may enjoy the clear waters of Napili Bay and in the afternoon you may visit one of the many pineapple plantations that surrounds it. Then, another day you may swim in the extraordinary clear waters of La Perouse Bay and Oneloa beach. One thing you cannot miss is snorkeling in Molokini waters. This small semi-submerged island can only be reached by boat. The island is what has been left of a volcanic crater that sank beneath the waves, leaving only a little horseshoe, creating beneath it a natural aquarium absolutely unique and one of its kind. But Maui is not just the sea. It’s also surf championships and lots and lots of sun. The hinterland of the island is covered with a lush forest from which rises the Haleakala crater (“House of the sun” in Hawaiian).
